Who we are?
Meet Jordan & Ebony
Jordan has always been cricket-mad—what started as a love for the game has grown into a full-on passion, whether he’s playing for Thornton Cricket Club, coaching at Outlane Cricket Club and The Cricket Asylum, or chatting about the sport to anyone who’ll listen. If you’re around the Halifax cricket scene, chances are you’ve already spotted him, a familiar face always ready for a conversation (especially if it’s about cricket!).
Ebony, on the other hand, grew up in Telford and will happily admit she was never much of a cricket fan—she didn’t even think people really played it anymore. That all changed when she met Jordan, one of the biggest cricket fanatics out there, who still talks her ear off about the game to this day. Fast-forward a few years, and Ebony is now a full-fledged supporter, spending most summer weekends at matches—Saturdays (and sometimes Sundays too, though she insists she didn’t sign up for that!) are now filled with cricket, sunshine, and, thankfully, a drink in hand.
Meet Jo & Dion
Dion and Jo spend most of their evenings and weekends driving their son Oscar to countless training sessions and cheering him on in his sporting passions. After years of watching from touchlines, boundaries, and courtsides, these places now feel like a home from home.
A keen sportsman himself, Dion couldn’t be prouder of Oscar throwing himself into the games he loves. Jo, meanwhile is happiest cheering from the sidelines - battling with a wind-tossed umbrella and embracing the great British weather!
